REASON FOR MAKING IT
:
We wanted to create a knee friendly stem that worked well and did not damage you steerer tube.

WHY IT WAS MADE THIS WAY:

This Stem is designed with a collet on the steerer tube. When the bolts are tightened the top and bottom of the stem come closer together and compress the collet piece evenly around the fork. The bars can be adjusted separately from the steerer tube by loosening only the bolts in front of the stem.
